On the plus side it has a V7750 which I have wanted for a while. I can't honestly see a minus side. Mason for me today. This is the only one I've seen with this dial, and was confirmed by Bryan as correct. As many of you know my collection has trended towards the 2-tone and enamel numeral dials, but I really like this one with the applied gold markers. I need to get a luminous version to complete my set.

Rediscovering old pals
One of the great things about not buying tons of new watches is you get the chance to hang out with old buddies.This week I've rediscovered my Omega (Bond) Seamaster Professional and am delighted with it all over again. I love the bracelet, the blue wave dial, the case back and, surprising, the red tip on the second hand, which gives the whole thing just the right amount of color.Once again, I've transcended the desire for a new watch by savoring the timepieces I own. This is really a good thing.Maybe I'm finally growing up..nah....

Interesting video looking inside of a Rolex Deepsea
Some may have already seen this video, but I thought it was a pretty cool view of the Deepsea. I've seen the Rolex diagrams, but had never actually seen someone remove the titanium piece from a Deepsea. It's also a nice sneak peek at the 3135. something I'd do to my personal watch, but it gives me an appreciation for the level of machining and design of the watch. If you didn't know, you'd think that the steel ring and titanium were one piece because they sit so flush together. I also didn't realize there was no threading on the titanium, pretty cool.
