It is not uncommon during the SIHH watch fair to hear the popping of Champagne corks and the clinking of glasses in the luxuriously appointed halls of Geneva’s Palexpo. This year, guests also heard the pleasant chiming of several new minute repeater watches from the exhibiting luxury watch brands. Here are four repeater watches from SIHH 2015 that caught our eye ¡ª and ear.The A. Lange & Sohne Zeitwerk Minute Repeater is the first Lange watch to combine? jumping time displays for the hours and minutes with a 10-minute interval repeater. The simple, legible dial belies the complexities of the movement and its chiming mechanism.? ....not as elaborate and detailed as we get from Stever500, but here you go:As I mentioned in my other post - mom & dad are visiting from the old homelandso we try to spend some nice weekends together and kick back & relax a bit.Last weekend we visited a small little beach town with cool old motels from 60's and 70's right on the beach front. Nothing over 2 stories tall, not fancy at all, but clean and very reasonable.I'd take laid back old hotel patio with BBQ grill 50 yards from the beach & 12-pack overHilton with 500 guest & overpriced fancy umbrella drinks 'any day' ;)Above: Nokomis Beach on Casey Key....just south of Venice Beach, FL - last weekend.BTW, I must be growing a new WIS in our household. To my shock - I caughtmy wife taking the picture of her own watch while I was not looking Only after I saw her taking the picture, I decided to join her with my watch.Pictures below: Cedar Key - place of our stay this upcoming weekend.

New Vintage Arrival
I just got this 1966 Bulova Automatic earler today for $50. It could use a good cleaning, but I love the crosshair design. It was bought at the antique store I mentioned in a post last month. The strap is fairly new and I put it on right after I got home, because the watch came with....You guessed it, a Speidel arm-hair puller! Sorry for the somewhat crappy pic, but I know that these threads are worthless without pics.
