Omega 123.20.24.60.02.001 wrist watches news:
Does anyone know why the Rolex used red/black and red/blue bezel inserts for the GMT's?
I promised myself no more watches for the rest of the year but you know how that goes...ha ha. Saw this one for a great deal and just couldn't pass it up. It's my first mechanical and my 2nd Hamilton. Love the small seconds and splash of red on the otherwise black and white dial. Also like the little details like the H on the strap clasp. Some people don't like hearing their watches but I love it and this one has a REALLY solid ticking some I can hear even when my wrist isn't near my ear..AWESOME. I know others on this forum have this one so I won't go on and on but I must say I do love the look and feel of this watch...Hamilton makes darn fine timepieces. Here are the pics:Thanks for looking,Shawn
I have a customer from Japan in his 60s who was born with a silver spoon. He likes to talk about his youth alot and the other day as I noticed he wore no watch I asked if he owned timepieces? He claims he ownes several Rolex and got his first at 15 as a b-day present from rich dad. With no appreciation he used it many a times in street fights as a brass knuckle. He still has it till this day, "well built" he says(dumbass).
Picked up a piece that I have been thinking about for a while now; 44MM SS!I had debated the watch for a while and had sold my Panda a few months prior thinking I'd get this in 2013. The right watch popped up and I ended up getting it a bit earlier. Once I opened the box, I muttered some lovingly words, and experienced the singing A few random pics around the house, and a few with my friend Bill (WAK4) who also received it's brother in FC Bill and I also picked up some other watches very recently (him 15400 and me Daytona) also on the same day so we got some snapsGenta shotAnd a thank you to both Mike (mb23) and Oscar (bodybump) for your friendship and help on these pieces. Great catching up in person with you, Bill.Hope everyone enjoyed the pics!
Hi,I just acquired a 2010 V series Submariner and I had a few questions. It appears to me that the case weight and bracelet weight has changed from what I remembered and not too happy about this. Can someone tell me if the 91350 bracelet was in fact heavier than the 92350? What year did the 92350 start in production? Also I do not know the case numbers but do you think the case were made lighter as well, want to get an idea before contacting Rolex about my thoughts. Thanks!
