- this piece is very elegant and classy. I love the diamonds around the edges and inside of it. The white goes with a lot of different outfits. I love the bling part of this and the best thing is that i think it fits any age.

- THIS WATCH IS LOVELY. THE PICTURE DOES NOT DO IT JUSTICE. THE FACE IS EASY TO READ, AND THE FLEXABLE CUFF BAND SHOULD FIT JUST ABOUT EVERYONE.

- Well put together and sharp looking watch. The rose gold is a really nice touch, goes well with different types of jewelry. I am happy with it and I like the fact that it is an automatic. Very cool.

Oris 677 7619 4154-Set wrist watches news:
Like all industries, the world of timepieces is an ecosystem. Watches are designed, produced, and eventually purchased. That latter part of the necessary cycle is one that is complex and difficult to understand - especially for watch writers and enthusiasts who typically have only their own experiences to reference. Most of the time, the relationship that brands have with journalists and consumers is very different and separate than the relationship that watch retailers have with journalists and consumers. This separation isn't always a good idea and often causes a large gap between the perceptions people buying watches have and those that the people responsible for communicating about watches have. An overall goal of mine is to better integrate the business of the watch industry with media on the watch industry. As part of this larger goal I recently conducted a series of surveys designed to learn more about the watch retail environment, experiences that retailers have on a daily basis
We found an Omega Marine Chronometer in going through my Father-in-Law¡¯s things this weekend. He is a veteran of the Coast guard and is in a nursing home now. As you can see in the attached picture, he has replaced the original band and the gold serial number plate as been lost. It is not running, but the housing does not appear to be compromised or damaged.I would appreciate any thoughts on the following before I send it in to Omega,¡1) Can it be fully restored?2) How much (approx.) it would cost ¨C for the band, serial number plate, possibly crystal and bezel?3) Anyone know where to find an original (model 1200?) band? Have struck out online.3) Estimated value (both before and after restoration).I understand that it's a somewhat rare and special watch, I would just like some more information and an idea of it¡¯s true value before we start the process. Any opinions/help/direction will be appreciated. Thanks for your time.2012-07-30_10-31-50_233.jpg

Hi, was wondering if Rolex still allows dial changes on Day Dates? Did it a few years ago on a 36mm Day Date through the AD to them. Now I am thinking about a change in my rose 40mm. Please let me know if anyone has done it fairly recently in the U.S.. thank you!EricE
