- Fossil Classic Analog Bracelet Watch - Pretty watch. I like the fact that it has the pink dial. I have only had it a couple of weeks but it fits great (has an adjustable band) and looks great too!

Oris 01 735 7662 4434-07 4 21 20FC wrist watches news:
"Watch What-If" is a special column on aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer that asks the playful question "what if an iconic watch you know and love was offered in a different style?" The idea embraces a good timepiece's core design and has fun by offering new colors and material concepts to stimulate your senses. These ideas may be provocative, artistic, or just plain silly. This is about fun, Photoshop, and the celebration of wrist watch design and experimentation. The original design we work off will always be at the bottom of the article. Ideas and comments are more than welcome. Enough response may even lead to a round two of design. ..I must admit, I am a gadget nut ;)...While I resisted the $599 price tag yearago for iPhone, I just couldn't say "NO" anymore to the improved 3G version for $199 that launched this morning at 8............and I did something that was VERY uncharacteristic for me - I woke up at 5:30 AM :eek:and waited in line to get one. (Granted - I had a beach chair and a stack of watchmagazines, so it was not so bad :D ) I was lucky...they ran out of all phones 3 guys after me .....How about you, guys? Do we have any gadget freaks here? I BET we do...LOL :D :D
My local watchmaker is pretty reasonably priced for overhauls,($165) but he takes ages (he had my last 3 watches for over 5 months!), and he doesn't appear to refinish the cases. I noticed one of my patients had a nice vintage gold Seamaster which looked brand-new, and he said that he just got it overhauled by another watchmaker. He then said something insulting about 'my' guy! In the meantime my wife's Mom gave me her deceased father's 60's era Seamaster and her deceased husband's 60's era Constellation. The granddad's Seamaster had been overhauled by my guy 10 years ago, but the Constellation probably 20 years ago. Anyway, I have taken them both to the 'new' guy for overhauls, since, being watches that my kids will inherit I want them to look brand-new again. The bad news - new guy is charging me $300 each, plus $200 each for new crowns, crystals, winding stems, and gaskets. Now, I understand additional charges for most of those items BUT shouldn't the $300 include at least t
Picked up a Triton with both factory stainless bracelet and factory mustard strap. Strap is on, and I love it, but if I decide to change it, how is it accomplished? I don't want to just attack it with Allen wrenches. Is any thread lock used? How much torque? Any tricks or tips? Same questions about sizing. Thanks!
I'm new to the watch bug and am trying to decide on my next purchase. Think I have it narrowed down to a Tissot T-Race T0114171205100 or a Bulova Marine Star 98B013 any advice to help me decide would be appreciated or maybe another suggestion.
