Ferrari 830123 wrist watches news:
Hi there to all Hamilton watch fans...found this forum this morning and thought I'd join and let people know what I've been doing...Bought myself a Khaki Field chronograph for myself for Xmas..it has a 42mm case, brown dial, display back, Valjoux 7750 movement..does not say 'Swiss Made' on dial, so probably assembled elsewhere...came with a small khaki strap that I have replaced with a bown leather Hirsch strap...well, this watch is comfortable to wear & keeps much better time then I expected(haven't had to wind it yet)..it is my new 'daily driver' watch...picked it up for $399.00 at Overstock...best bargain in mechanical watches I have come across yet..still, I plan on ordering the Khaki Officer chronopgraph this weekend(44mm case, black dial, large Arabic numerals, same movement, Swiss made)..while it is about $700.00, I still consider it to be a baragin for this class of watch!!!...anyway, I'll try to post a review of the watch once it comes in...I think I'll try to reserve spac
Off today and after taking my 5 yr old son to an early dentist appointment it's off to one of our favorite places in the worldthe Academy of Sciences in GG Park. Figured with all the walking we'll do it's the perfect time to charge up this kinetic Seiko Sportura. Have a great day guys,Shawn
I was looking through some old slides, and came across this on a roll of Kodachromes that were stamped 2/06 on the back of the mounts. I thought some of you might enjoy(before anyone cries "fake", please see this link keeneland/racing/list...litemsalt.aspx )
Would you trade a really nice 5134g (Travel Time) for a 5110p (World Time)?I really love the 5134g as I am into GMT/Travel Watches. That said, the 5110p is basically my grail watch (top of the tree in the GMT/travel genre) and the world timers are quintessential Patek. If you would do that trade, since the 5110p is platinum and more expensive, what do you think would be a reasonable amount to add in order to make a fair deal? Here are a few photos of the 5134g in case you are not familiar with the model.
I have the 422. GREAT watch. Felt it perhaps was not a great daily wearer though. A bit big and flashy for my line of work. The leather straps are just tough to work with in the Florida summer heat, at the beach, playing golf. The 422 looks wrong to me on the rubber strap. A great nighttime, weekend watch or for days when not exposed to the elements. So, I wanted a second watch and re-purchased (arrgh) the one I always regretted letting go, the GMTIIC. Will be my daily wearer and I hope will allow me to appreciate even more strapping on the 422 whenever I can. The GMTIIC came via a great transaction at the Rolex boutique, Millenia Mall in Orlando. Considered the black and blue bezel but that color combo just does not do anything for me. Pic is of my old one.
