Omega 123.20.24.60.63.001 wrist watches news:
Piaget watches have long been renowned for their elegant thinness, and the brand has set numerous watch-world thinness records with its releases of recent years. The new Piaget Altiplano Chronograph, which debuted this week at SIHH 2015 ¡ª sets another one, for world’s thinnest hand-wound flyback chronograph. The Piaget Altiplano Chronograph actually sets two new slimness records, both for the movement (just 4.65 mm thick) and the case (a wafer-like 8.24 mm). Piaget has created 25 in-house movements that it considers “ultra-thin,” with 14 of them holding world records in their category. This latest is Caliber 883P, based on Piaget’s 880P, the thinnest automatic movement on the market. Two years of development went into its creation, and the finished movement boasts unprecedented thinness in several key components, including the cannon-pinion (.12 mm), barrel staff (.115 mm), and chronograph gear finger (.06 mm). I have read the threads on the American Made watch companies, but I wanted to know when each one of the big US companies either switched to Swiss / China / Japan, or when the company went under. For example, from my research I understand that Hamilton stopped producing watch that we made in America, of American made parts, in 1969. So what about Timex, Bulova, Elgin, Waltham, Gruen, Pulsar, etc, etc. I am doing research on this topic and any information you can provide would be great.Chris
Hi, this is my first time post on AP Forum. and hope some advices from u guys.My AD offered me twenty five off to a 26401OR (the blk dial model, not the 2017 novelty) and my question is, is it worth to spent that much of money for a discontinued model ?.Thanks a lot.CSY
This afternoon I was the first lucky customer at the Royal Exchange boutique in London to pick up a Snoopy Speedmaster. Sincerely happy to have had the conviction to commit when the order books opened up earlier in the year. Superb service which has so often become the norm. We were all equally excited to open up the matt black presentation box.Excited is truly an understatement.
Stopped by the Geneva Salon. It is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. They had a ton of inventory and even had real, but non-working, versions of some of the hardest to get/see/try-on and Baseline references. Enjoy.
