Omega 123.10.27.60.02.001 wrist watches news:
OK here's the story....I'm going to pull the trigger on a Speedy moon to mars from our AD....My wife want's me to ask for free shipping since she's getting it for my early 50th B-day. I told her no way but would ask for a hat, pin, book etc. since this stuff usually comes free from Omega....So what do you think?
My pics of my new OM (because no body knows what it looks like right)
This is a hard one as Richemont has done a nice job with the brand since 1997. They have produced everything from near-exact replicas of vintage era PAMs as well as modern day marvels. I heavily favor the simple PAMs that hark back to the old days. The ones that immediately come to mind are the 21, 36, 127, 203, 217, 232, 249 and 341. Believe me, if I could have each of these I would, but I feel plenty thankful to have one.If I had to pick one though I would have to go with the 21...NOT the one I have . The 47mm rad case in platiunum, tobacco t-dial, gold hands and vintage Rolex movement are just amazing. It has incredible wrist presence. What say you? One of the above or one of the many other models to come out over the last 12 years?
I was reading Falcon's posts about his frustration with the most recent miscommunication with Invicta CS, (I'm not bashing the brand) and that gave me an idea for a thread. Maybe it's been done already, so if it has, apologies and ignore this. What's the worst thing you've had happen with regard to your favorite (or non-fav.,for that matter) watch or watches. It can be physical damage, theft, financial ripoff, anything you want. I don't have a big one, but I've written about it before. I dropped my beloved Seiko quartz sports watch that I owned for more than 20 years and went through three different straps, the repair people said it couldn't be fixed. (Maybe they were full of it, but I believed them and let them dispose of the watch for me).
What do you think is an appropriate price for the speedy co-axial with steel bracelet? Model 311.30.44.51.01.002I know retail when it first came out was $8,200. How should it expect to pay at and AD. Any price suggestions would greatly help. I just want to know before I step into the store and know if it's a reasonable price that they offer..omegawatches/gents/sp...31130445101002Thank you!
