- The caramel color of this watch is lovely, but it has unattractive shiny copper accents (not noticeable in online pictures) and a ring of sparkles that fails to sparkle. I sent it back.

For fun, if you could have either of these (5980 or 5960)...1) Which would you choose?2) Which do you feel will hold value better?3) Which would you wear more often if you had both?4) Which would "collectors" choose?I look forward to hearing.Calfee
Does anyone know the new price for euro zone for the 5167R? would interest me to know if they raised it 7% or less/more, since I am kind of planning to get one probably within 8 months…Sorry I did mistake in choosing the section and now I can't erase my thread...
This is my dream Patek Philippe...contemporary looking with all the complications all without looking 'grandfatherly' and 'old'...truly an amazing watch. Unfortunately, I'd probably have to sell some land or a few cars to get me one of these, so the possibility of getting one is at best 'IMPOSSIBLE'..BUT, I can dream, can't I? I mean - when's the next Mega Millions Lottery? If I get this, I promise...I PROMISE!!! I won't buy another watch EVER EVER EVER!!! Let the drool session begin!!! Anyone else have their ULTIMATE ULTIMATE Patek Philippe? As the latest member of the Grand Complications family, the Ref. 5951 in platinum incorporates a split-seconds monopusher chronograph and perpetual calendar. I've lusted after a Panerai for some time and have 'almost' decided on which one:Luminor (100% sure)Manual Wind (Was fairly keen on the 312 until I read about 'some' noisy rotor and 'some' poor timekeeping).44mm (7.5'' wrist) and a daily wearer.Sandwich Dial (90% sure)My questions are: Does the 590 have a sandwich dial?Is the p.5000 movement a good timekeeper/ proven and is it 'better' option than the PAM111 'exclusive' movement.I like the idea of an 8 day but prefer to have the sandwich - I think.Any advice gratefully received.I hope to join the 'Paneristi' club soon. Thanks.
