I'm a creature of habit. I have settled into a long-standing wearing rotation: Mon-Wed: Omega Aqua Terra (std. size, blue dial, co-axial escapement, on the bracelet) - nice for a "business" look Thu-Fri: Rolex GMT-IIC (sorry guys) - getting close to the weekend Sat-Sun: Omega Speedmaster Pro 3570.50 - "Tranquility base here - the weekend has landed"I have one Orbita winder shared between the AT and Rolex. I let Speedy run down after the weekend and wind it on Sat. morning and she's rarin' to go.Looking for your input on getting out of this rut:- Just grab one at random?- Wear one for a few months, then switch off?- Buy as many watches as Jim Moose so that it just doesn't matter?- ???Please help before I start doing things like washing my hands exactly 30 times before drying off. I wasn't sure if the word "an*l" was prohibited

Anything can be a military watch.
This auction proves to me that you can slap a black dial with white numbers on any watch and call it military. A 52 Elgin Clubman case with a 680 movement. Sold for $58.76. The only thing mil about it was the BU Ships dial. Even the hands were the gold originals painted white. You can get real Clubmans and real Elgin militarys for less than $58. The saddest part was there were some heavy hitters bidding including one that I see going for every Elgin military that comes up. I know that someone with thousands of feedbacks can't possibly be gullable about Ebay.Joel

Broken Seiko
Hi,I have a problem with a Seiko watch with a quartz movement, it appears something has broken inside so now when I turn the winder the second hand spins very fast with it, however, the hour and minute hand do not turn at all. Can anyone tell me why this might be?I am not a beginner, so should able to sort it myself if I know the cause of the problem. As far as I'm aware I haven't done anything to it other than remove the winder.Any help would be appreciated.Cheers.

What is ETA H21?
Hi,First Post on this forum.My Father is giving me his Hamilton watch next week that was a wedding present from his parents (my grandparents) in 1951. I do not know what it is yet as I have not seen it but I will receive it and take a picture and start a new thread asking questions about it. All that I know so far is that it is gold, and has a round face. As I said, I will know more next week.In the meantime, I am looking to buy a chronograph without a tachymeter on the outer ring (which rules out about every Rolex! :)) and like the looks of the Hamilton Jazzmaster Maestro. In addition I think it might be kind of cool owning an old Hamilton and a new one. In checking the Maestro, I see that some of them have ETA 7750 and others have ETA H21. Can anyone give me some insight into this? I have read that 7750 is considered top of the line but is H21 a big downgrade? And why do some watches in the Maestro line have one and others have the other?Thanks....Howard
