- I love the face of this watch and it is gorgeous and simple. If I could change one thing, I wish the band weren't a slightly different white as the face but I still love it!

Omega 123.25.24.60.55.012 wrist watches news:
I am in struggle between a YG daytona paul newman and a YG GMTIIthe daytona seems to be better keeping its value and looks more prestige.. but on the other hand, a YG GMTII looks more macho and cool.i really don't know which one to go for. I have 2 daytonas (SS and TT) now.
Rolex etches an S in the saphire crown after a service. Do the folks who service Omegas mark the watch anywhere after servicing?
I am probably going to pick up my first Patek in September when I am back in the UK. An AD has set aside a 5296G 010. He's quoted ¡ê17,750. Do you think I should be able to get a discount on this ? I have no previous relationship with this AD.Image from internet
Ok mates I've finally narrowed it down to these two choices. Any enabling is appreciated. The 5296 appeals due to its size and simplicity. The dial looks great and I don't really have a need for a hidden case back. I think it would compliment my 5167 nicely even though it's the same movement. The 5396 appeals due to complications - although I don't have much use for any except the date and maybe the moon phase. The watch is somewhat chunky and obviously thicker than the 5296 which was somewhat of a turnoff. Also, the 5396 seems more dressy than the other. I could easily wear a shirt and shorts with the 5296 but would be harder to pull off with the 5396. Both bezels are prone to scratches also. Finally, I'm on the fence about the prong buckle with the 5296 vs. the fold over clasp with the 5396. Both are nice but the fold over would prevent the watch from being dropped. Any advice appreciated.
I'm looking for some advice! I have the opportunity to get a Black Ceramic GMT on Interest Free Finance over 2 years, with only a 10% Deposit. Now another ''up'', is also the fact the Authorised Dealer is not keeping the warranty/papers etc.My overall Goal is to own the much sought after GMT Batman, however it would mean placing a deposit with a different store, and i would need to take out a Personal loan resulting in paying back huge amounts of interest. At what point is it better to buy the black ceramic now, and be content with that instead of getting the Batman and probably end up paying back ¡ê1,500 in Interest over 5 years.
