- Boyfriend Style Watch - I enjoy wearing this watch. It has a large readable face with leather band. My only concern is the band doesn't fit snug on my wrist. The extra holes don't line up wear I need them. I love the look though.

Omega 111.15.26.60.55.001 wrist watches news:
On a whim I threw a bid up on a new daily beater for my wife. Guess what, I won! I was wondering if anyone has used a company called Montre Swiss out of the Branson area before and could tell me good or bad? I saw on another board where some folks had nice things to say about them, but I wondered what you'all had to say.My purchase: Rolex Datejust 179160 Silver Roman Dial Bezel Engraved Mixed Serial Montre Swiss I apologize in advance if this is not the appropriate place to post this.
Here are a few tips for BOTH beginners and serious collectors. They sound simple, but few surely follow them:1) Acquire a Library Find as many books as you can that include information about the watches that you like.ALWAYS use the internet (Google) and search for strange watches/marks/calibres/names. Its amazing what some one else has posted on that term.Really even if you own a watch, do a Google search. More info is power.Additionally, do NOT limit your library to only modern books. Buy antique books, not only is it fun, they usually were tremendously written AND illustrated. and they are soooooo cheap.Me I probably have a library of 30 books from 1902 to 2009 Ikes father who is one of the Numero Uno collectors in his field must have OVER 5000 books. Trust me. READ and Learn.2) Write to Manufacturers to get their cataloguesNearly EVERY company produces fantastic catalogues these days, with fantastic pictures, history and explanations as to their R+D and development. I have been admiring this watch for quite some time. I like the Raymond Weil brand because of their designs and craftmanship and the Parsifal will fit into my collection right next to the Freelancer. I may have been drawn to the brown dial and the Roman numeral markers that are not just standard X's ans I's.Or it could be the 57-jewel Caliber RW 7310 movement. I can't say for sure, but it appears to be a base ETA 2892-A2 movement with a Dubois Depraz 2021 Tri Compax Chronograph Module with the date between 4 and 5.I also like the polished stainless steel case with finely brushed accents and the custom fit dark brown alligator leather strap. And at 41mm wide and 12mm thick it is a very nice fit.I also like the various shades of brown available under different lighting conditions.I'll be wearing this most of the weekend.
I love to hear stories about watches that have been with their owner for years and even decades, and I was curious if anyone here has a Rolex they've kept with them for years and wouldn't sell. I'm hoping to keep my GMT until my hair has all but fallen out, haha.
Hi everyone,I'm new to the forum and very much enjoy the great content on here. I bought my first Rolex a 116610ln back in July from an AD, still absolutely love it but I've got a craving for more!! I'm really drawn to the BLNR although I'm worried its too similar to my sub, after asking the opinion of a few friends they have backed up this opinion, none of them are into watches may I add. What do you guys think? ThanksOllie
