Omega 123.20.24.60.05.001 wrist watches news:
At SIHH in Geneva next month, Richard Mille will introduce a new in-house caliber, the CRMA1. It represents an original concept by the Richard Mille movement designers in Les Breuleux, Switzerland. The movement will debut in the new RM 037 Automatic, which features a patented crown mechanism integrated in the case. Find wallpaper inside. This automatic winding caliber created from skeletonized grade 5 titanium sports an oversize date at 12 o’clock and a function window at 4 o’ clock. Two subtly shaped pushers are located at 4 and 10 o¡¯clock. The pusher at 4 o’clock allows one to select the winding (W), neutral (N) and hand setting (H) functions with a simple push. An aperture located at 4 o’clock shows the function selected. The second pusher, at 10 o’clock, controls date changes, useful when traveling or for correcting the date when required at the end of the month. The RM 037 is fitted with a new crown mechanism, patented by Richard Mille. Thanks to anyone that can help. I have a 14K gold Hamilton wristwatch. I opened it up to see what the movement says. I found it is 19J (see my photos below) and some #'s 2912909 and below that is 379-F. I don't know anything about it. Is it a Dorsey? or what?
I recently picked up a used Longines Lungomare l3.632.4 men and have conducted various online searches to learn more about this watch but cannot find any information including value, age, etc. Was just hoping someone could shed some more light on it for me. I've provided a couple photos below for reference.I thank you all in advance for any help.photo 1.jpgphoto 2.jpgBest,Adam
Had met a gentlemen selling this yesterday and it appeared that the thing was genuine however the date refused to change so I'm thinking there was something wrong with the 1128 movement. The time was set to safe date change hours (not between 8pm and 2am) but using the hour hand jumping it simply would not change the date to the 6th. Then I tried the the long way with the 24h hand going all the way around past 12 multiple times. Afterwards I checked photos from the listing and the date was still at the 5th so it hasn't changed since he listed for sale. The serial engraving looked a little shallow but the dial and other details looked perfect. How does it look to you?
Hey All,I've been wanting to add a precious metal dress watch for while, but my eye has been firmly set on my next stainless sports watch acquisition. My friend and I have been talking dress watches and took a trip to NYC to do some browsing. After having the 5196 on, I'm obsessed. I have a Rolex Sub and I've always been a one watch guy, but I really want a piece of Haute Horlogerie. Before being derailed by the 5196 my plan was to get the RO 15202 and it be my only watch. It's obviously not as robust as the Sub, so I've been having doubts. With the price difference between what the 5196 is available for and the 15202, I would be able to justify the stretch and keep the Sub and get the 5196. I feel like I'd have a pretty well rounded two watch collection. Does that make any sense to anyone?? haha Am I nuts to be thinking to forgo the Jumbo? I looked at the 5196J and the 'R'. I only tried on the 'J' because the strap was already flexed and I felt bad bending the perfect strap of the 'R'
