Omega Omega 4196 wrist watches news:
I had my Seamaster Co-Axial 300m Diver on my winder and it was set to 950 TPDI had not worn the watch for a week. When I went to wear it the time was correct but the second hand was starting and stopping. I let the watch sit for a while and then wore it for a few day and it runs the same as it did before. 1 second a day fast. I changed the winder and now it is at 650 TPD. I was really scared I had damaged it. I called the AD where I bought it and he said that there is a safety on the watch that it cannot be over wound. It has been about 3 weeks since this has happened and there seems to be no problems. Does anyone have any information on the co-axial movement and if it can be over wound on a winder. Thanks for any input.
Hi everyoneI have only recently discovered m¨¹hle glash¨¹tte and just in time as i was in the process of searching for a new piece. It's been almost a year since I bought my frederique constant maxime manufacture and need to redecorate my wrist. I received my catalogue last week and I am struct by the teutonia II however Im unsure between the sekunde or the chronometer. I do prefer a central seconds hand but is it worth paying the extra for the cosc certification(am I right in saying it's a glashutte only cosc now). Your thoughts or any more info on the brand or models would help.
Question for the pro's:There is conflicting info on the size of the case, does anyone know for sure? I know that most pre 2013 cases are 42mm, but there are some exceptions (GP ofcourse, but also Alingni). Does anyone know if this one is 42 or 44? I have big wristst so need a 44.Thanks a lotChris
Hello all,I'm trying to decide on the next piece and I've narrowed it down to three...the 5980r, 5960p (grey dial) or the 5070g. I know that they're really different pieces but I'm curious to hear different opinions. Thanks in advance!!-Carlos
Take the 5170 for example, it incorporates a scale to measure heart rate, ideally this is a precision instrument with the expectation of accuracy? My question is this:If you are a Doctor & would like to utilize the functionality of your precision wrist tool to some degree of accuracy, which is designed to measure heart rate, how exactly do you press the start button (located on your left wrist) after you have located the patients pulse point (using your right hand), without removing your hand from the patients wrist/ pulse point?I ask because a pulse point can often be a very tricky thing to locate, depending on the patients fitness & condition.Ordoes the concensus feel there should be no expectation of using this watch in such a fashion?
