- I had been wanting a Chanel J12 watch for a few years, but just couldn't justify it. When I found this one, I thought I'd go ahead and try it. I get SO many compliments every time I wear it. I love it!

A. Lange & Sohne A. Lange & Sohne 29600 wrist watches news:
My newest Rolex has arrived to join his family. I bought it "pre-loved." It's a Z series. I really like the smaller (36mm) size. And no date is viewed here as a plus.
One more work day and I have a week off. I shall celebrate with the Pacer.
I am contemplating moving my 42m new style Gold ROO (26470or) for a Gold RO (15400or black face/black alligator strap) and using the left over $$ to pick up a pre-owned (or new) Diver or another more casual piece (possibly Rolex).Does this make sense ? I do like the 26470or (yes I like the dial ) but am thinking the combo of the 15400or and diver will give me a little more diversity in providing one dressier and one more casual piece. I do have a FC44 which would stay.As always.....thoughts are very welcome and opinions are appreciated ! TIA
If some of you remember back in Feburary, I posted an image of my Vintage Pie Pan Connie and a couple of members taged it as not real, with the dial having some issues.I contacted the dealer I bought it from and he said let him look at it and if he agreed he would make good on it.Well he finially did. It took two months to get my refund but he stood behind his sale. This is after I purchased it over three years ago.So that goes to show there are some honest dealers out there. He said it was a consignment piece and he missed the details that were pointed out by TRF members in one posting. Many thanks to the members who pointed it out to me. I would of gone for the rest of my life thinking I had a collectors piece when in actuallity it was a Frankenwatch.TRF is the best watch forum on the net.Best regards,Mort
On Ken's last post I replied that the 5970 is imo one of the most beautiful watches Patek ever made.So it made me curious , I wanted to know other people's TOP 3 listSo please think about it, more than once and to give you a hint ¡ don't just name the 3 most complicated you know. The most beautiful is imo seldom the most complicated. I had the sky moon tourbillon a few hours in my hands and I appreciated the technical work of art but I will never say it was a beauty. Nor am I a fan of repeaters or tourbillons. From a purely esthetic view a simple repeater looks like simple Calatrava. And a Calatrava is a nice watch but imo not for the TOP 3 ever :-)And those super complications with multiple functions are imo most of the time too busy.As you see, my choice does not have vintage pieces. The reason is simple. For me they are way too small. Yes I like a 1518 and yes I like a 3970 but a 35 or 36 mm watch is just not for me. And yes I like some vintage chrono's like a 530 but once again
