Omega Omega 49695 wrist watches news:
The watch industry is a place I became a part of by accident, and in a sense my love of watches themselves was an accident. Stumbling upon the world of timepieces, I quickly identified with a number of values I had that were shared in the design and construction of high-end timepieces. What I later learned is that this story is anything but unique. Many people who entered the watch industry of their own volition never had the desire to be involved with watches but rather found a number of values in the watch world that they could identify with. In my opinion, this explains the recent history of Mr. Pascal Raffy, formerly of the pharmaceutical industry who purchased the historic watch maker Bovet in 2001.Bovet produces all the components for their watch movements in-house, and also happens to use their industrial capacity to produce small machine parts for the medical and aerospace industry. This is an important point to begin with because what Bovet is not is a marketing machine in the
Hi folks,You might have seen my recent post about my newly acquired GMT Master II. Anyhow, it is a stunning piece, but the lume on the tritium dial is totally gone (it's a 96 model, very well kept I must say for a 13 year old watch). If lume were a factor, what would be my options when I plan to send it in to an RSC? Would they be replacing the whole dial with a superluminova dial or would they somehow be able to re-fill the tritium tubes? Was just wondering, since lume might be an important factor for me with this. I'm also taking into consideration the fact that I want the watch to be as "original" as possible, but I don't plan on re-selling this (at least for now). This will probably be an heirloom for my eldest son (who is now 4).Any thoughts would be greatly appeciated.ThanksGlimmer
I may be in the market for the 2012 London Olympic LE Aqua Terra Chrono and was curious if these are still floating around in any Omega ADs. If anyone has seen one, please let me know. Thanks,Randy
please, first of all, NOBODY take this personal and I really do NOT want to offend anybody !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I even like the NautilusBUT ¡. When looking at recent posts I think something is going wrong. Patek is imo much , much more than a few Nautilus. It seems like 1 out of 2 posts is about a NautilusIs Patek getting the AP RO disease ? AP is such an interesting brand and they make so much more than only RO and ROOI really hope Patek won't make the same mistakeSo I hope to see more non-nautilus posts.
I have come to love my 5167 and feel it is the most comfortable watch I have ever owned. I was thinking about getting a 5164 and just wondered if it was as comfortable or if the slight increase in size made a difference on comfort wearability.
