Omega 4375.71 wrist watches news:
Hi all,Great forum, have been lurking for a while and finally registered now I have an issue I have a Speedmaster professional, bought it about 10 years ago and it's been faultless...until now. When I wind it, the winder doesn't have a "stop" anymore - it will let me wind it until I stop. Obviously I don't want to overwind it if that's possible. Other than this, the watch is still working fine. Any ideas what the problem might be?Thanks in advance.
Counterfeiting goods is OK according to EU and British expert! This very morning I spilled my cup of tea when I read through an article published by the British quality daily Telegraph. The comments by Professor David Wall, one of the authors of the EU funded study, are simply and plainly dangerous. Our societies are based upon the guarantee of property and its ownership by the forces of the state. That is pretty much the first of the fundamentals of our culture. Whether this property is intellectual or physical does not make any difference whatsoever.Today, it is actively encouraging the counterfeiting of goods; tomorrow it is actual confiscation of the fruits of human endeavours by the chosen few like Mr. Wall.I will never, ever consent counterfeiting any item and I do not stand corrected on that one! I can only urge companies braving the challenges of counterfeited goods not to pay any VAT or other taxes anymore. It is simply not in their interest to finance any state acting in the wa
Hi All Well not sure if posted in correct area.Just bought my first omega :-) Omega seamaster pro Quartz I have other watches but they are just seiko'sSo first proper watch!
Finally got the call late last week! Big thanks to the members on the forum who helped convince me to pull the trigger & buy the 5711 blue dial 'sight unseen'. Big leap of faith and the photos just don't do it justice! My local dealer was a hero getting me bumped up his list a few months ahead of my wedding .. and even gave a 10% discount to retail as a special present! Guess he knows he'll see ALL my business going forward! Thanks for the support guys - glad to finally be part of the club.. my first non-rolex piece! PS - new member alert-- i'll have to figure out how to rotate pictures going forward! sorry!
Being offered this watch and considering it as a beater to complement my 16750 matte when I want a water proof/etc watch. It is a W serial, it has papers. I know the dial is not original. Appears to be a Swiss Made service dial. Is the bezel correct for the watch? Have not seen the stamping on bracelet yet. Im thinking of offering $5000-5500 knowing the issues. Am I low or high? Dealer took this in against a new watch. Thanks guys!
