- Great watch for a great price. Looks stylish and classy without being too flashy. The only thing I'd change if I could would be the band, but overall a great watch!

Vacheron Constantin 82620/000G-9924 wrist watches news:
Last week we brought you a review of the Frederique Constant Slimline Moonphase, and today we're bringing you a review of a watch by their sister brand, Alpina. Alpina Watches has been in existence since 1883, making them one of the oldest brands that you might have never heard of. Founded by Gottlieb Hauser, Alpina was a genuinely innovative brand in the early 20th century, with impressive distribution to match. They manufactured watch calibers and chronometers in both Switzerland and Glashutte, supplied to the military as well as civilians, making them a sizable brand. In 1938 they made a big leap in the development of durable sport watches with the "Alpina 4", which is a set of standards, that are clearly in use today, including anti-shock, waterproof, anti-magnetic and a stainless steel case. The brand stayed strong, producing various lines of watches up to the seventies, when like so many other great brands, they were leveled by the "quartz crisis". For a very detailed look at thei
Hi,I just received my new PO Quantum of Solace edition from a reputable dealer. It looks brand new, with its hang tags, protective stickers, etc. It also appears to be working fine. Upon closer inspection, however, I noticed that there is a rather visible gap between the Helium escape valve and the case, even if the valve is closed tight. This gap shows a little bit of the thread that the valve screws on to. This gap and thread are only visible from the top though. The bottom does not show the gap (or thred) at all. Is this normal for all 45.5 m. Planet Oceans or did I receive a defective watch? This is my first experience with XL POs so I don't know whether this is normal or not and I don't want to sound like a full if I had to talk to my dealer about this. My old Seamaster 300m (2008) does not show that gap at all by the way, but I wonder if it's due to its smaller size (41 m). Anybody out there having the same issue with their XL Planet Ocean? Any help would be greatly appre
Theses where in one of a Dad's watch part boxes. Gave them a ultrasonic bath once I figured how to pull the stem. They both have a V732 movement. I know they are from the 80"s I remember my Dad wearing them plus the style is of that time period. Typical dress watch, my Dad always dressed in Suites and Tie for work.Any comments on age and serial number would be great looking up information was difficult, like reading Japanese LOL!
Camera and tripod out to get some pics of the latest acquisition that I got just in time for Christmas..Cheers
Well, I made it through half of January without buying another watch. Just barely. I ordered this one today and will have it in my anxiously awaiting hands early next week.
