Patek Philippe 1578 wrist watches news:
Not sure if this is the right place. How do you post large size photos? I see some photos that are 2142 kb+, when I try to upload it is limiting my size to 97 kb.Matt...
I'd like to get a stainless bracelet for my Black Monster. I'd prefer to get the "proper" one made by Seiko, but am not completely against others if they look right for the watch. So, any suggestions where to look or what non-factory brands to consider (and where to find them)?
I just love them but of course get the people saying that they took the name of someone they had nothing to do with blah blah so did Panerai and Breitling which are two others that come to mind. I can pull the trigger on a Navigator Scout black dial on bracelet and strap for a very low cost. Would love some input on anyone experienced with it. Beside the tyical, get it if it spaks to you, get what you want etcstuff.
If you have both 5711 Blue and 5980/1R-001 Bracelet, will you buy another nautilus? If yes, which one will you buy?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Please excuse a new thread on this topic - I was going to add my report to an existing thread, but I may need to post over a few days and it would have become too disjointed.Part 1I didn't really know what to expect from the Patek exhibition, but I have to say what a really excellent job Patek have done. The whole thing was very slick from start to finish. I went on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed - I wasn't expecting as many people, so my advice is if you are going get there early. Also there is an iphone app available, so download before you go to get the best out of your visit. The exhibition is split into a number of different rooms and areas. After watching a short video the first stop is the Royal room containing timepieces owned by previous royalty. The two pocket watches in the photo belonged to Queen Victoria. This is one of the rooms where there is a lot of queuing to get in, with not much time to look at the exhibits.
