Tudor/Rolex Question
Many of you seem to know much about the Rolex name, so I want to ask a question that I never understood.Since made by Rolex, does anyone know why Rolex would make a second watch that looks the same and cost less? What is difference? Is it material, mechanical, quality, warranty? Is it just marketing? Is it the same watch inside? Why is one Date-Just $5000 and the Tudor $3000? (approx) If answer is too long, can you direct to website or articles? Bob

Just purchased a watch. I was wondering if anyone out there can tell me how many of this exact watch was made. It says Hamilton Artcraft on the bottom of the face. Hi guys ^^First of all, I would like to introduce myself. I'm a male from Malaysia. I'm 23 years old and just started working few weeks ago in oil and gas company.I'm planning to buy a watch this week. The problem is, I don't know which one to choose. Here are the criteria of the watch that I'm hoping to buy. Hopefully you guys can help me. My max budget for the watch is USD450. I will wear the watch mainly during office hour, together with formal clothing (shirts, slacks, black leather shoes, etc). I'm also planning to wear the watch during my casual time with friends as well as when I'm going shopping (wearing tshirts, jeans, sandals or shoes). I'm not planning to wear it while I'm having exercise or during swimming.I'm so in love with square watches. This is because most of the round watches are too big for me (my wrist width is only 6cm, thickness 5cm). But I don't mind if you guys know any round watches that will suit my small wrist. As for the strap, I think it will play the majo

My Speedy pro is on the way from a trusted ebayer.. i found a 3592.50 for a reasonable price...My question is, what do you guys think the better watch for international travel would be...Speedy pro vs Planet Ocean 42...Spending two weeks in Turkey; just want to take 1 watch....Speedy pro might be a bit more low profile... not spending too much time in the water (but maybe a little....)thanks for any thoughtsdrccw

Buying spring bars from Rolex
I went to Rolex Vancouver with the intention of purchasing spring bars for my 116610 and 116710. It's not that I needed those I just wanted to stock up just in case.The guy I was talking to said they dont have stocks and have to be ordered, which is fine. But I find it odd he was asking for serial nos. I gave him the model as I thought he had to order based on the model. He insisted for the serial nos and said they can't place an order without the serial number.Also the price he gave is CAD$60++ for a pair of spring bar and have to pay shipping of CAD$40++ for a total of $100 for pair.Do you have the same experience when buying spring bars at Rolex?Maybe because am not their valued customer?!
