So I thought my friend had bought a new Sub. It had a cyclops yet the bracelet was...
brushed AND polished like a new Daytona or YM bracelet. It confused me, as I was never that physically close to him to see it head on. I didn't comment on his new Rolex, I wanted to be casual about it. I was hoping he might say something about it but he didn't. It really surprised me that his new Sub had a polished bracelet. I had seen him 3 times that week and on the 3rd time I noticed something odd about the dial - it appeared to not be a Rolex after all. It seemed to have some sort of eagle design or something like that where the Rolex crown would be and it didn't say Rolex at all after closer inspection. It didn't seem to say anything. I couldn't believe it. It wasn't a Sub after all but a watch that was made to look just like a Submariner. I'm really glad I didn't say something earlier in the week like "You have great taste in watches" or "Nice Sub". How embarrassing that would have been, for me.So other watches that look like Rolexes use the cyclops too? I was surpris

My new Android Skeleton
Just got it today...picked it up on Chronoshark a week back. I've wanting a skeleton and I liked the less formal and more funky look of this one. It's a little big put not uncomfortable or anything. My 3.5 year old son loves seeing the internal workings and I have to admit I do too. Is it a good idea to keep the case stickers on?
Since I got my watch back from a full Rolex Service last week... (ref. my thread about a pawnbroker jeweller falsely asserting that my watch was scratched on the glass)...It came back refurbished like new, complete with stickers on the back and sides. I haven't peeled off the side stickers as I quite like the stripes... But is it a good idea to keep them on to protect against new scratches? ��Before the service, I was totally nonchalant and care-free about wearing it and it had its share of light scratches and dings, but now that Rolex has made it new again, weirdly I feel a bit nervous to wear it... ��
