- Cute watch but to heavy and the band pinches, would love a ring watch with a leather adjustable band, with either a buckle or a velcro closure, will be sending back!

Omega 156.087 166.110 wrist watches news:
The crown on my SS Daytona is misaligned.. It drove me nuts, so I fixed it.Here is a comprehensive tutorial1) BEFORE (note: the crown is fully screwed down):2) Tool to use:You get a good grip with these jaws:3) AFTER - I only gave it 3/4 of a full turn in the clockwise direction, and now the crown is aligned:.\
Not too flashy, but it was next in the rotation - so I'll be wearing my Carlisle.
Thinking of making that switch myself. Curious what your thoughts are and in particular if you can still pull off the brown dial/strap with a suit. Thanks!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I just had a recent INCOMING, and I thought I would share some thoughts with you on my two Pateks: the 5712 1a and the 5167a.1. The 5712 has more wrist presence, the wider lugs and the tapering of the bracelet makes the watch wear bigger than it really is. The 5167 feels way more sporty and nimble. It is the perfect sports watch in that you don't know that you are wearing it compared to some of the monster watches that have a lot of heft. For this reason it the perfect activity watch as it less likely to get caught on things. Plus the rubber will make it clean up easier. 2. The 5712 does not make as much noise as the 5167. Not hearing the whizz makes me think, are you still working?! However it does take some time to adjust to the 5167 noise, if I was not a member on this forum, I would have been concerned! Now the noise is like an old friend. 3. The 5712 feels more dressy. However both have slim profiles that will easily fit under a dress shirt cuff. Don't get me wrong,
So I have been not sure on where to go with my collection. Don't have a ton of funds and typically keep it to 2 or 3 watches, right now have a Rolex 114060 and love it. Was looking at adding a BLNR, but wanted to look outside Rolex as wellWent and tried on a 44mm basic sandwich dial today and fell in love with the simplicity of the Pam112. Display caseback, manual wind, strap changing options, it's going to be awesome! Worked out a deal with DavidSW and should be here Friday morning Unboxing and wrist pics soonNow for the strap obsession I've been told so much about... where do you guys recommend I look for vintage leather straps?
