Omega 3870.50.31 wrist watches news:
I have an older style LV with no Rolex markings inside around the face, and thankfully without the green dial. It was sent in twice for repair to Rolex, as the timing on it was way off. +30 a day was the average. How that happened after receiving the COSC certification is beyond me, but who knows how they are handled once they leave the factory. Since then, it has had no issues, and runs +4 a day, which is perfectly acceptable. I was considring giving the watch to my son, however, after seeing the new LVs, I was thinking of maybe keeping it just for the uniqueness of it, and buying him a traditional sub instead as it would be more versatile in the business world. I understand watches are not to be thought of as an investment, especially due to the markup and various other factors, but, I am curious of others thoughts. Given Rolex changed the LV, do people feel they will be sought after in a decade or two like the red sub, original pepsi gmt, or other? Or will they just be thought of as
Hi guys,i just picked up my second omega from the bay.It was a store display model and i got a good deal....Please have a look at the pics and lemme know what you feel about them and if there is anything wrong. The local omega AD had a look and said it was ok....
Hi allAs I have mentioned before, I intend acquiring a GMT II but got to thinking (which is dangerous) about magnetic fields and watches. I know the parachrom hairspring is not affected by magnetic fields but are there other aspects I am unaware of? I work in very close proximity to high voltage lines, like in contact with them occasionally, and although I have not noticed any electrical / magnetic effects on my phone, credit cards or other sensitive items I do not want to ruin a good watch through ignorance. Are there any other parts in the GMT II which could by affected by strong electric / magnetic fields? I currently own a Breitling Aerospace and it has functioned perfectly despite a very hard life so I doubt my fears are valid but I thought it worthwhile to inquire from more experienced minds. Thanks.

Acquired a new Diver yesterday and already the black hornback is on the way from AP. This watch is a lot lighter than I thought and such a nice legible face. Thanks for all the nice info on this model from previous posters. Regards. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
