Omega 2234.50.00 wrist watches news:
It is entirely possible that you have never heard of Squale watches. Sure, it's a brand that has been around for over 60 years, but not until very recently have they come back from a sort of brand hibernation. However, back in the 60's and 70's, Squale was literally one of the top producers of dive watchcases and dive watches. They produced cases for many brands, from Tag Heuer to Doxa to Blancpain (source). They not only produced robust and well-designed cases, but made genuinely technologically innovative watches. One particularly advanced watch was the 101 Atmos, released in the late 60's, which claims to be the first 1000m dive watch without a helium escape valve and features a unique bezel design. In 2010, the brand began to produce watches again, sticking to remaking of their famous watches from the past, many of which fit right in with modern divers in terms of style and features. The 101 Atmos ref 2002A is one such watch, and is a recreation of that famous watch from the late 60
My first vintage watch was a?Cartier Santos Dumont?¨C?a small, handsome, time-only yellow gold model from the 1960s that introduced me to the wide, wide world of vintage watch research.?I became fixated on this watch for a myriad of reasons, but most certainly because I knew Cartier as a watchmaker?and this particular watch?harkened back to both the early days of the maison?and the early commercial history of wristwatches in general. So when Cartier announced a completely new line of watches ¨C Cl¨¦ de Cartier ¨C I was curious to see?how this legendary company intends to move forward?with a respect for its heritage?and an eye on innovation. 2 OF 14 Silhouettes of Cartier's iconic wristwatches. From left: the Santos, Tank, Ballon Bleu, and Cl¨¦ de Cartier. In a slickly-designed presentation, Cartier distills the current design of its watches to four main case shapes. The Santos Design aficionados may lament the absence of the Cartier Crash in this quartet, but that par
I think I got away with one on e-bay last night. E-bay was having problems yesterday. Pretty much all day you couldn't get a search on anything. Whatever you put in, such as my usual, "Benrus watches", it came up with zero returns. All you do was go to "My E-Bay" page and if you had something saved you could bid. So I bid on the watch below at the opening price of $20.00 and I won it for that price, because nobody else could get a bid on it unless they had it in their My E-Bay page and I guess nobody did. So for $20.00, I got a very nice little 1940's cushion style watch, nothing really special or "rare", but just a nice example of the era - This probably should have been a 50-70 dollar watch. To bad for the seller.I only wish some of the more expensive watches I had in "my e-bay" were coming due when this problem came up, because I could have really walked away with a steal!
Any suggestions for a travel watch case. I travel about once a month for business and sometimes may want to bring a second watch along (besides the one I would be wearing). I would like something small, that holds one or two watches.
