Omega 231.10.43.22.06.001 wrist watches news:
Hi all,I am new to this forum and vintage watches in general. I recently purchased a Benrus watch and would like to open it up to take a look at it. It is a Benrus 3 star watch and the back plate says "#3021 series-open thru crystal". Any advice would be great. Here are some pictures of the watch:CAM00053.jpgCAM00056.jpg[ATTACH=CONFIG]34942Thanks!
Lug width of Citizen At0709-08e? Hello,I'd like to replace the strap on my At0709-08e with leather, but can't find the lug width anywhere! Any help? Thanks!
My new seiko premier srh007 watch arrived, but to my disappointment, the second hand is slightly off from the minute markers. I don't know if any of you have any similar experiences with other quartz watches and if so what did you do about it?This is really bugging me. I need some opinions. Pictures of my new watch will come later.
Just a brief update with pics to follow. Last Tuesday met with Adam78 from Chicago. Now I thought I had a great early Rolex (1930s) collection and indeed I do, but trust me Adam78 Are GREATER. Full of wonderful Bubblebacks. Great guy, lots of knowledge and a lovely person. I have loads of pictures (which Adam took). That I will post soon. But believe me this guy has the greats I'm Rolexs AND Hamiltons. Be patient. To day was with Noel from National Watch and Clock Museum in PA. They are running a special exhibition on Grand Complications. You guys MUST come take a look if only to see a letter written by Breguet to a customer. Wonderful stuff, really. Then we went over to see Roland G Murphy of RGM. WOW!! What an experience. Thisan is a 'master'. He demonstrate both a 'rose engine and a straight line engine' 'Guilloche'. He has all the vintage equipment tohand make watches and also repair or service any (really any) watch and if you could see him demonstrating a 'rose eengine' Guillo
