A little bit about Citizen's history
It was founded by Kamekichi Yamazaki in 1918. Back then it was known as Shokosha Watch Research Institute. In 1930 they change their name to the Citizen Watch Company Ltd. Traditionally a strong rival to Seiko (Seikosha), Citizen have grown from a smaller company to a significant brand in the world of horologie. Yamazaki San's desire to produce affordable watches for the citizens of Japan then have gone global. While many may contend prestige on this brand, one cant argue that they offer more watch for the money.

Hi guys,I've been a lurker for a while and it's finally nice to join. I just had a question regarding size. For instance I'm very interested in getting the new AP ROO Forged Carbon Black but needed dimensions if you don't mind. Sorry if it's a stupid question.1) What is the exact diameter of just the crystal itself?2) When measuring AP watches when it says 44mm-is this just the case or case+crown and pushers?
