How to set Seamaster GMT???
Folks, new to the forum. I own a variety of GMT watches, my passion. My first Omega SeaMaster GMT. The time setting instructions with the manual make no sense to me regarding what they call "synchronizing" the gmt hand and the hour hand. On this watch, how to do you set up the two. Assume I want the GMT hand truly on GMT, which for me, in San Francisco means the GMT function is plus 8 hours.Thanks to all

Another Quartz Comment
I'm just posting something I've been thinking about lately. This won't be another thread saying which is better, merely my opinion. Have any of you ever considered going quartz because it affords one more options in terms of picking a nicer watch? I've noticed some brands that often offer an auto and quartz version of the same watch. Many times the quartz will be a fraction of the cost. My Prs-516 quartz was around $200, whereas the auto is nearly $800. They use either the same or very similar case, same bracelet, and similar dial setup. So, I'm just suggesting, why not go quartz sometimes if it allows one to get a nicer watch than going for a lower end auto?

One Year of 5905P
One year since I picked this up and I wear it daily, a perfect modern Patek in my opinion. And I'm wondering if the other two pieces I'm interested in would get any wrist time, I'm waiting for a 5524G pilot and considering the new 5320G perpetual. Opinions? I'm thinking the Pilot for weekends but am having a hard time with when I'd wear the vintage looking perpetual. Do you guys think it would work as a daily with casual attire, jeans and a polo, my uniform?
