Invicta 6471 wrist watches news:
The fourth A. Lange & S?hne timepiece bearing the ¡°Pour le M¨¦rite¡± designation combines a beautiful, historically-inspired regulator dial with a fus¨¦e-and-chain transmission and a tourbillon with a patented stopseconds mechanism – complications designed to improve rate stability and precision. Find technical details, pricing and wallpaper for this stunning horological tribute inside. The Richard Lange Tourbillon ¡°Pour le M¨¦rite¡± pays tribute to Saxon watchmaker Johann Heinrich Seyffert (1751-1817). No other watchmaker can take more credit for advancing precision horology in Saxony. His timepieces were immensely popular among scientists at the royal court in Dresden, and his design concepts influenced other skilled artisans. In 1845, this trend culminated in the establishment of the first German watch manufactory by Ferdinand A. Lange. The regulator Seyffert crafted in 1807 is a particularly attractive example. It is now part of the collection of the Mathematics and Physics Sal
I just bought this, essentially new in box, unused , from a very well know TZer (the same member that sold me his MINT Seamaster Electric Blue early this year):I paid less than half price (more than 60% OFF compared to the Canadian price - taxes included !!!!!) so I know I made a good deal. Of course, to offset the purchase, I am going to sell my Aqua Terra, which I love but don't use much. I had planned to flip the AT some time ago. It's a beautiful watch with blue dial, part of the Seamaster line; it's got all the reasons for me to keep it, but honestly I do not use it much (the quartz movement may be a silent culprit here) and my philosophy is 'if you don't wear it, you don't keep it'. Plus, I **have** to replenish the funds I borrowed from.I will also sell a bunch of older valuable comics that I have meant to sell for a long time, to offset this purchase (the funds used for this purchase were 'borrowed' from other budgets) and start building a Speedmaster Pro fund for 2009.
Gentlemen, this is my first post on this Forums. I'm a bit confuse and need some advice to decide my next move. Here it goes : I already have SS Divers and I have been eyeing FC Divers for sometimes. Since I read on this forums that FC Divers will be discontinued, so I'm kind of worry if I don't buy it now, I won't be able to find the new FC Divers to buy in the future. I'm not gonna sell my SS Divers, so the question is : 1. should or shouldn't i buy the FC Divers since my AD is having it reserve for me? 2. having two AP Divers, same movement but different materials...stupid or ridiculous?Look forward for some comments....
My father-in-law recently gave me this:He purchased it new sometime in the 1960's. He did say at one point he dropped it about one story onto a sidewalk and had to replace the crystal. Unfortunately he also replaced the original bracelet and has never been serviced.I'd like to take into the NYC Omega store and have them service it and also replace the crystal with OEM, if possible? Any idea on the cost for this? Thanks!dr
Lots of firsts with this new one added to my collection. There are so many different variations in the shade of the bronze I am very excited to have this piece and can¡¯t wait to see how the patina starts to develop.
