- This is my first piece of drusy. I ordered the pink. I'm an artist and the beauty of the drusy takes by breath away. Mesmerizing is a good word for this drusy stuff. Happiness on a chain!

- Great watch for everyday. Good size at 41mm, and Victorinox makes a very nice duct for the money. (This is particularly true with the Sierra Trading prices). Tried and true ETA automatic movement.

Omega 231.10.39.21.55.001 wrist watches news:
I have a couple of Elgin watches that i wouldn't mind knowing the model names for (if they exist).First one is an Elgin De Luxe and dates to 1944 (558 movement & ser# T849596). The case is by Wadsworth.Second one dates to 1950, (554 movement, F674241 ser#). The inside case back is inscribed Star Watch Case Co. #6727.
A dialin which the hours and the seconds are indicated on seperate subdials rather than on the main central dial (sweep seconds hand). The reasoning is to make the minutes hand, mounted on the centre , easier to read. The name "regulator" comes from the fact that the large pendulum clocks once used to regulate the time in watch factories and celestial observatories had that type of dial. Now you know
I told to my AD recently about order special dial. Never order before. Have no idea what to choose. Any suggestion. Jamie suggest 5270R with blue dial with Breguet number. How do you think? Photo from PP.5396R_015.png
I need to replace the strap on my 5167. Was too agressive on the sizing and warmer weather has already shown me the error of my ways.Having a devil of a time getting the strap off, and afraid I'll scratch up the lugs or case. I am using a bergeon 6825 with fine forks - is there a better tool for this job? Maybe I just lack patience & fine motor skills. Any tips/tricks from fellow owners/others would be greatly appreciated. Going to have another go at it this weekend when I have more time. Thanks!
so, we've already seen the 531 (new GMT) and 569 (Ti destro sub w/ hobnail dial), but, looks like there are (at least) three more.IMO, the 1st one below has to be a little painful for the early adopters of the 510....
