Breguet 7027 wrist watches news:
Hello All,New guy here, entering the great abyss of fine watches. My first Omega pictured below (currently being serviced):I like vintage watches with an understated elegance and will probably get a Seamaster from the same era at some point. Also fool around with vintage shave gear, Parker 51s and what not.Looking forward to learning more from the knowledgable folks here.Best Regards,Dave
I shall keep this short. The Da Vinci that I purchased 2 weeks ago, will not be sitting back on my wrist. Please see the threads on the IWC forum.Once it has been repaired it will go back to the AD, where it will be re sold. After a lot of deliberation I have decided, not to keep it.And yesterday I went to my AD and did a deal on a PP Y/G 5146. The PP that you see as my Avatar - but not the actual watch.Except that mine has a black strap.I hope that what I'm about to say is true. To quote a slightly modified line from the film Men in Black."This will be the very last watch that you will ever put on"Unless of course I win the lottery.:Thank you, to Milos for all your advice in helping me to choice which one to go for:thumbup
Fairly new to watches beyond whatever I got as gifts in highschool/college. Starting to look into some classier looking pieces to wear with a suit to work, now that I can (kind of) afford to be an adult. Picked this watch up as an inexpensive Christmas gift for myself, figured it would be reliable as it seems to be using Seiko internals.Would love to hear your thoughts, as I'd never heard of this brand, but thought it looked pretty classy and fit my tastes. And only $120 after some hunting!Update: Think I fixed how the pics were posting here...
