Just curious how many of you own more than one Rolex? At present, I own 7 and my wife has one.
The Illinois Wentworth (1932)The first thing you almost have to do, is take a look at this side by side next to it's cousin the Futura (left)The Wentworth and Futura share the same case, but the bezels are differentThe Futura has an extra ridge and the corners of the crystalare square on the Wentworth. Both are very desirable to own, but the the Wentworth is much harder to find (YGF) and even more difficult in white gold filled (WGF)I have a super nice WGF coming tuesday (thanks Rick!!!)and I will update this thread with side by side pix!SIDES:The movement is a nice little 207/17JCASE # 197 (same as Futura)KeystoneFF Notes:Rarity 4-5/6YGF 4/6WGF 5/6Time period:ModerneSubs:@ 6Value:$250- to $1150Good to ExcellentDIMENSIONS:36 X 23 mmRJ007 Notes:A real Beauty on the wristSuper hard to findI have seen several Futuras on the Bay...Never a WentworthIf you see one, grab it!Adam78 has a beautiful example!ENJOY
the emergency room? I was feeling a little under the weather and went to my Dr. He sent me over to the hopsital emergency room. Between IVs, CAT scans, X-Rays, and having other patients suffering from DTs around me, it was felt that I should remove my jewelry and let me wife take it home. The jewelry consisted of my dad's diamond solitaire ring and a Hamilton Cushion in 14k green gold (engraved on the back ?Montie, 1927"). I spent 7 days in the hospital without a watch (or decent cable package) and came out the othet end without my gallbladder. I'm now dressed again for a follow-up visit to my surgeon and am wearing my ring and a 14k pink gold Dorsey...hopefully I'll be able to keep this watch on today! While I was out, a 14k pink gold Midas showed up in the mail...have to have the wife take it in for repair as it showed up with a bad mainspring. At any rate, I'm glad my Hamilton stayed intact during my hopsital emergency room journey. Now, I ask myself, how should I reward myself for
Hi allI'm very close to pulling the trigger on what will be a grail watch for me, the 15400or. Im one of these people who like strap options on my watches though. I know the black dial comes with a black leather strap and the silver/white dial comes with a brown leather. I've seen images of the black dial on a rubber strap but never seen the White dial on rubber. Now, before I get roasted alive for asking I appreciate White dial watches are generally more formal so rubber straps may be seen as taboo but I bet someone out there has done it or seen it and I need to get the option out of my head if it looks horrendous. For background I have a small collection and every piece has a black dial which is why I wouldn't mind the change. However I'm not against another black dial. Over to you guys and girls. Thoughts, images etcThanksSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hello Breitling experts! What would you think this navi 1952 QP in yellow gold would be valued at today? I tried to find some on watch recon, breitling source, and chronograph 24 with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
