Oris 733 7646 7154-07 4 26 04TEB wrist watches news:
It just so happened that I was wearing this watch when the Benrus arrived ......I opened the package, and thought ...well those knotted lugs cases aren't so much alike as I thought !Here's the Benrus...........Kinda makes the Hawthorne look a bit on the gaudy side eh ? ......so much more elegant, refined and quiet in it's demeanor....even with a slightly patinaed dial, it far outclasses the other on ......
I recently posted how I'd been bitten by the AP bug with shots of my 42mm Elephant....well, just got the Horus graphite camo strap and decided she needed her own thread....beauty!
Hello All,I just wanted some general opinions on the wash of Royal Oak Offshores that are Limited Editions. It seems like AP puts out alot of Limited Edition Royal Oak Offshore watches and I'm not sure how I feel about that.On one side, I like that the limited runs of 'unique' watches is a constant in their product portfolio - thus offering those customers the opportunity to own very singular pieces, but on the other side, I just feel like it's such a marketing ploy to drive up retail prices of watches with 'new materials' etc...What do you all think/feel? Is the constant offerings of Limited Edition Royal Oak Offshores Too Much of a Good Thing? Thanks,
I like the old style sword hands and speedy bracelet. Am I crazy to spend $2,300.00 for a 2255.80 or should I spend $3,100.00 for a 212.30.41.20.01.002 ?Is the co-axial a lot better? (borrowed pics)
Before I get started on this, let me just say I was a die hard 42mm fan. The dial was more proportionate, I liked the bezel better, and I liked the white numerals more than the orange. That being said...I stopped into the boutique at The Aventura Mall the other night. I wasn't expecting to buy anything. I wanted to see a few things - the two-register PO, the two-register Speedmaster and a few other things. And then I tried on the 45.5mm PO - the new one. I did not want what happened to happen - but it did. It looked better than the previous version of the 45.5. It had the same features I found aesthetically pleasing in the 42. The finish seems so much nicer than on the previous version. Here are some shots...As you can see - the numerals are not painted, they are applied. And gorgeous. I would normally have opted for the white numerals - here is why I didn't. They are very shiny. The orange numerals are satin or bead blasted. And much more appealing than the shiny.I don't know if it's me,
