Omega 222.28.42.20.04.001 wrist watches news:
Can't make my mind up on these. Is it worth the extra ¡ê for the LE?
I really can't believe it happened, but here it is with no cyclops magnifier. It is under warranty. Do you think they'll cover it?Although there may be issues there too. I bought it after the two year warranties started, but it is old enough that the card states one year. My AD said it had the two year warranty and he wrote that on the receipt. Should be interesting to see how they respond.
As a relative noob to watches, I am still in the "don't always know what I don't know" phase. I have a question about shock protection in modern watches. By way of background, I don't need a super-tough watch for most daily use, but I *do* engage in some hobby activities that can be very hard on watches wrt to shock/impact etc. So I *think* that shock protection is important to me.Anywho- I think that my next watch will be either a Bremont -S2, a Sinn (either a U2 or maybe a 756 or similar), or maybe another Breitling. Some Bremont models tout a highly shock-resistant design (not the -S2, though). My question is, how unique is this? A retailer I know tells me that many modern watches feature some degree of shock protection in the basic design of the movement, and thus do not promote it that heavily as a particularly unique advantage. What say you?
So this edition comes on a blue strap but I want to the classic RO bracelet for the fall. They go for 2500 plus tax at the AD and sometimes more when bought through a dealer. I stumbled upon this listing on eBay and I'm obviously very skeptical. You think this could be legit? The pictures look good.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
For putting your AP ROO on bracelet to strap.Folding clasp DP.0402.018.ST4 X Plots PL.222.013.STYou would also need 2 sets of screws,2 X VI.254.063.ST (Screw)2 X VI.253.056.ST (Nut)Optional:4 X VI.254.025.ST (Screw that attaches strap to case)You already have 4 but i always recommend to have a extra set because of the wear when changing strap/bracelet back and fourth.Best regards,Thomas
