Omega Omega 19434 wrist watches news:
Can I wear a Rolex while posting on another forum?Actually, this is just a test since my good friend Leo just walked me through the photo posting process. Thanks Leo...
Well its been a lunar month now since I was fortunate enough to buy the MasterJust thought to post a little information on what it's like so far to live with. First the positive.I still love the class looks of this timepiece, it smiles to me every morning and gets some wrist time everyday. Scott exlained to me some time ago about the engine; Valjoux 7751, it is both a workhorse and a thing of beauty. The watch gains about 4/5 seconds a day on the wrist which I am happy with. The negative. The crown was not designed for human fingers, very small, hard to get a grip of to pull out, adjust or hand wind. The strap is just about minimum length for my wrist to allow the end to tuck in under both retaining bands. It's OK for me but i only have 7,5 inch wrists. There may be a choice of strap lengths available when ordering but this was not mentioned to me.Thats about it for now, no regrets, would buy it again tomorrow. Great watch.
I first became aware of Edouard Lauzieres when another member listed one for sale on the sales forum. I'm very impressed with the brand (specifically the park avenue model) and there is a ton of info. available about the brand on this site but I can't seem to find where I can purchase one. Can anyone help, have I overlooked something obvious?
Ok this issue has been happening for a while now on my 2254.50. Let me see if I can explain. What would happened is I thought the threads on the crown or crown tube were cross threaded because all I could turn the crown was about 1/4 to 1/2 turn. I take it to a local watch matcher and he installs a new crown and crown tube. First time I don¡¯t like how it sounds when I turn the crown to tighten so he looks at it again. Within a few days it is doing it again, 1/4 turn and tight and it did not seem to pop out to position 1. So I take it back, he orders another crown and installs it. This time it is a crown with a satin finish, he says that is what Omega sent him. At first it will turn 1 to 1 1/2 turns to tight then within a few days it is doing it again, 1/4 turn and tight. This watch maker is an hour away. I had been back and forth several times. So I said I will order the parts and see what I can do.I know another local watch maker that is an authorized Rolex repair. So I order a new cr
Does anyone know when the PP 3919 was produced and when the 5119 replaced it? Did the 5119 offer any significant improvements over the 3919 other than case size and display back? Thanks.
