Omega 2208.50.00 wrist watches news:
Hello Everybody!NEW WATCH PURCHASE! This time, it was purchased for my Dad. After many months of searching (both soul and otherwise ), it was time to bite the bullet, and purchase a brand-new 118238 Yellow Gold Day-Date with the President Bracelet. You may notice that this piece is equipped with a white index dial, not with the Roman Numeral dial that is often seen. We (my Dad and I) were very pleased with this dial for its visibility both in normal and low light conditions. This piece is totally new, including the new style clasp, the inner-bezel inscription, and the polished lugs. My Dad is not a gemstone kind of guy, hence you won't see any on this piece. Still, wow. Some of you may recall my recent advocacy for the White Gold version of this watch. I will now "put a sock in it." After seeing this piece side-by-side with the white gold version (similar white / Roman dial), the decision was very easy. The fluted bezel also compliments the President bracelet very well. My
Now I know.
My grandfather recently passed away and my grandmother gave me his old gas station clock he bought new in the 1950s. its an Cleveland electric clock. I thinks its a pretty cool piece of vintage Americana. Im currently restoring it right now. here are a couple of before pics of the clock. SANY0011.jpgSANY0012.jpg
Hey guys I have been really interested in watches for the last couple of years and have bought about 5 in that span. I stumbled upon these forums and I can already tell I'll be spending some more time around here in the future.Currently the watches I own is a Nike PU watch that is pretty basic and a Skagen Titanium mesh watch. I just got my paycheck from my job and I'm getting that feeling again that I want to buy another watch! I'm look to spend anywhere between $100-200 and may stretch it to 225 if I really like the watch. Are there any brands I should look into or any specific model that you like? I'm looking to buy one with a metal band and it doesn't have to have any fancy features. My family is going to go shopping in Portland, OR tomorrow and I want to be on the lookout for any watches I may buy! Thanks in advance!
