Power Reserve Questions
I have a new SMP Bond Chrono Diver with the Caliber 1164. It runs a little more than 4 secs fast/day, so I decided to wind it fully and let it exhaust the power reserve as break in to see if it might slow down a smidge. It's a little too early to tell about the effect on accuracy, but I was surprised that the watch ran for 52 hours even though the stated reserve is 44 hours.Don't get me wrong. I am delighted that the actual reserve is 4 hours beyond 2 full days, as I find that much more convenient than 4 hours short of two full days, but I am curious if this is unusual? I mean that's 18% beyond the spec with is significant. Is the watch likely to be as accurate in those final 8 hours?

They came out decent considering I had to hold the hood open with one hand, and snap pics with the other.
