- I am a watch freak and I love the look of this watch. It is rather large in size so please keep this in mind. I love ger watches though. Gets lots of attention.

- I just picked this watch up today and it is really beautiful. I've wanted a rose gold colored watch and this one looks good and is very stylish. Also, I can read the dial without my reading glasses.

Patek Philippe 5196G-001 wrist watches news:
My watchsmith showed me how my Longines was progressing. He's at the timing stage, which means in a week or so, I'll be able to wear it. Here's the before:And after:
I've had this Sterling Silver Longines bracelet watch for probably 20 years. It was a display model at a prominent Nashville jewelry store that closed and was part of their inventory I purchased. The bracelet band is hallmarked with a stylized "L" and .925 as is the watch case back on the inside. The watch measures about 24mm X 12mm. The movement is Longines 17 jewel unadjusted 510 and has a No. 52043493. I have tried to search the number at another website and apparently it is to new to show up there. The watch has never been worn and runs perfectly as far as I can tell. Hopefully the photos will give the additional information someone may need to tell me when it was made, the model name and an approx value if possible. Thank you in advance for any info you can provide me.
can someone tell me if this watch is legitimate?I know that the dial has been redone, but what about the case?Movement is 986ALooks like a mid-1920's Cushion, but with fixed wire lugs, interesting engraving and what looks to be a period correct bracelet. Converted ladies' pocketwatch maybe? I didn't see one like it on Mr. Roseman's website, so I sat this auction out.The final auction price was ridiculously cheap, about the scrap value of the gold, maybe a bit less. Just want to learn something for the next time. Thanks in advance, gatorcpa
Is there any interest in this model? .omegawatches/index.ph...000&no_cache=1 Its a professional, manual wind, sapphire sandwich with moonphase and date. I know its not the watch that went to the moon, but in reality not even though sapphire sandwich went up. I really would like a watch with date, so I think the moonphase and date are nice touches considering its a moon watch. I also like its a 42mm alike the original and I know Omega makes a 40mm with date only. So here is my dilemma, considering that the 3576.50.00 and 3573.50.00 are not that much different in price, which one would you get? I think I really like the moonphase? From a collector's point of view, do you think this a bad move? How about the 3573.50.00? or the original 3570.50.00? Thanks for all your help.
So... I tried searching and couldn¡¯t find an answer.. When setting the date on my BLNR it would change dates when I advance the hour hand pass 11pm instead of 12pm.. It only does it if my minute hand is past 30.. if the minute hand is before 30 it will change dates after I pass 12pm. Is this normal?
