Tag Heuer WAR201C.FC6266 wrist watches news:
Here's a noob question for the experienced WIS's among us: Where did these common bracelet styles come from? I've only recently started paying much attention to watches and have noticed that certain styles of bracelets pop up over and over. Pretty much every brand I've looked at offers Oysters, Jubilees, Presidentials, etc, unless the bracelet is integrated and hard to swap. I associate those names with Rolex, but again I'm very new to all this. Were these all originally Rolex designs? When did they become so popular?-Mark
Hi,I'd appreciate a bit of advice.I'd like a new watch -ideally a rolex explorer 1. Sadly funds do not allow. This being the case, I was wondering if anyone knows of a watch that has a similar style (not a fake Rolex - just a similar style)Ideally the watch would be 36 mm - or close - certainly not big and heavy, on a bracelet, have a similar clean and uncluttered dial, be an automatic, and available new, or easily obtained used (i'm in the UK).Does any brand/model come to mind.Thanks.Peter
So I just received my GMT and the bracelet is too big. I call the Omega Boutique closest to me and they said that they will not touch an Omega that was not purchased at an A.D. Is this normal? All I was wanting was some links taken out. Seems like a pretty crappy way to do buisness. So my question now is can someone point me in the right direction on how to do his my self? After doing some research, it seems that a 1.8mm screwdriver is the correct one. Is this true? Also, do I need to put Locktite on the screws before putting them back in the bracelet? Any help would be appreciated and thanks.
This one sold in an auction for 24760€(!)Would you have done the same?I would not have, not in this condition despite full set, boxes, certificates etc.https://chrono24.auctionata/intl...nd-around-2012
IMG_3180.JPGHello fellow TRF membersI was at my AD yesterday and he had these two Tudor watches sitting in his case. I never looked at Tudor but the colors grabbed my attention then when I did some research I found how sought after they areI like both watches equally, which one is more sought after and what kinda discount (if any) should I look for?Thank you for input!
