Random Serial Number new 14060
Hi...new to the forum. I just bought an unworn no-date 14060 sub from a Jeweler and it is one of the new "random" serial number watches. It has the serial number on the rehaut and all of the other tell tale signs of being legit, including the Rolex movement and other markings (I had my certified Rolex repair guy open it up).....but it does not have the random serial number engraved on the case between the lugs at 6'0clock. Is this something that Rolex is now doing with their new random serial number watches....only putting it on the rehaut and not the case? Again, the certified Rolex guy told me the movement is an authentic and all other markings are correct....but not having the serial engraved on the case caught us both off guard.

Vintage Omega Seamaster 300
I must have had my eyes closed for years, I mean I had seen them, but for some reason I was always looking for something else, a Speedy 145.012 for instance.How could I have missed the beauty of a vintage Omega SM300? I think I'm in love.....At all stated last weekend when I was checking through a couple of websites and really began to realise the watch for what it was - a total timeless classic. Intense online research on the subject followed and has only fueled more desire for one, so much so it is on the "wish list". The wish list I should say, is much more than just wishing for something, it is a commitment to buy - something to be researched. At the moment only two other watches have earned themselves a place, the 5513 Submariner and the Speedmaster mentioned above.So here is my dilemma, from my limited research this watch appears to be one of the most faked watches in vintage circles. It appears that it would be easy to end up getting tucked up with something that isnt genuine. N
