- I bought this watch for my husband for our 10th anniversary, and he loves it. I looks elegant and is large so it looks like a mans watch. The watch was priced so reasonably. I would absolutely recommend this watch to everyone.

Omega Omega 26004 wrist watches news:
I had a new (for me) watch arrive last night. A Heuer Autavia, and before anyone else mentions it: yes, you have seen one before. Dennis has one he has recently restored). I had been starting to look into vintage watches and vintage chronos and Dennis pointed me in the direction of some interesting information. I enjoyed reading and researching about the early auto chronos and made a decision on which one to buy for many of the same reasons Dennis did. This one uses the calibre 12 movement, which of course is based on the calibre 11, one of the first auto chrono movements. It is a great size for me, 42mm wide excluding the crown, and look great on.I have a replacement bezel coming in, but I don't think I'll do much else from pop that in and get the movement cleaned up. Probably a new strap soon.Mix of my shots and sellers shots:
Being a vintage kinda guy in both collecting and age I have a question to ask-What's a WIS? I must say I'm certainly learning a lot about the newer watches thanks to this site!
In with the new. Well after 7 yrs of ownership I have let my faithful, trusty old RC go. This is the watch that got me into AP and I thought it would be a keeper. However times change & things move on. I have been having a bit of a shake up with my small collection over the last ten months mainly trying to thin out a few pieces which I haven't worn in a while and add a few newer higher end pieces. I am really pleased with the direction things are going in with AP as a brand and the opportunity presented itself late last week to get my hands on a piece I really wanted since it's release. I grasped the opportunity without hesitation and moved out a few pieces including my RC to add this beauty to my wrist. First wrist shot driving home The finish on the ceramic is amazing, the orange accents work extremely well IMO, the weight on the wrist seems perfect and having the display back is an added bonus. This thing is awesome! I think this watch is going to get a lot of wrist time, it's
My 5167R seemed a bit small and the 5164R wears bigger and has more presence. Also didn't have second time zone watch since losing my Reverso Grand Duo. Got a very fair price including the trade in and enjoying the extra size/heft.
Have been in Vegas for the last few days and noticed that they had a PAM498 Fu 1950 case at Tesorini inside the Bellagio... Thought it was odd as I thought this watch was only available in the Asia market and would think it has been sold out for a while at only 1000 pieces. Anyways, was able to persuade my old man to finally join the Panerai family by acquiring this pretty unique piece. Goes well with him and his old Chinese ways lol. Here's a photo of this beauty,
