Breitling AB021012/BB59 wrist watches news:
Hello I just purchased a Orbita Sparta Deluxe Single Watch Winder with Lithium Batteries. When I first took a look at the protruding metal point where the cup attaches, I noticed it was slightly cocked to the side. Initially I could only get the cup on part way. After over an hour of messing around and trying to push it on, finally it went on, and now when I remove it, it does have the bearing on it that was initially on the metal protruding end coming out of the motor. At first after this the cup would not spin freely after it was rotated. However, it does appear to be working now. I noticed the back of the cup has a small rubber nub with a thin piece of steel inside, which is what is actually used by the motor for the initial rotation before gravity takes over. This seems very flimsy. So far I am very disappointed, as the case won't stay open on its own either. Can anyone else sound off and let me know what there experience has been with Orbita? From the searches and review
Imagine you are given an assignment to make 5k in new watch purchases. You are told you can use the money to buy either one watch, two watches, 5watches, as many as 7 watches with your 5k budget. What would your list look like? You can include anything from watches you own, would like to own, etc.
Hello, everyone, I will have my 5712a and 5711r in this summer, I want one tropical rubber for my sports collection. Which do you think is a better combination, 5164a or 5164r? I want it as my daily watch.
This Patek 5196R has been in the safe for a long time but finally made it out into the light of day today. Thought I'd snap a couple pics before putting it back in the dungeon. Don't hear too much about Calatravas around here. This one is about 5 years old & has the silver dial, but I understand that they recently switched to a white dial.I used to wear my Patek all the time, now thanks to all the enablers on TRF I'm hooked on steel sports watches. Perhaps the white 5711 one day...Anyway, I'm on a strap kick thanks to my fellow Paneristi & am now thinking about a new strap for this one. Anybody have any suggestions? Would I pretty much want to stick with the Patek OEM straps or might there be some other good options? Is there another color or material strap that might look good with rose gold? Thanks!
I purchased my very first Panerai watch (PAM 312) earlier this month. It is the second watch in my collection. It has been a while since I purchased my first watch, the Rolex DateJust II (116300), and always loved the Panerai's. I thought I would share a few pictures with you guys. Thanks!
