An Omega Seamaster in my first year of college, or a cheap car?
I am going into my first year of college in a few weeks, and I have to work. I just got applied for a local job at Radio Shack, and I need to save my money. I have wanted an Omega for at least over a year now. I also have to save up for a car, which my parents are going to kind of help me out with. My question is, do you think that I can save a feasible amount of money in 6 months to a year, even with an Omega I bought and is on my wrist? I think the Omega will be a Marker for moments in my life, that is why I want it so badly, and of course because of the quality and beauty in its simplicity. Also, is this watch the full size watch that a man such as myself should be wearing? As in is the size normal?PS: The Omega I want is the Quartz Black Seamaster Pro, not sure on the REF#. I am looking for your collective advice on what you think is a "fair" offer for this timepiece. I am aware that there are those of you who strongly believe this is an over-engineered and over-priced timepiece (what rolex isn't?), but I like the chunkier 44mm version of the submariner-on-steroids model. White Daytona Price Structure
What is the "official" Canadian retail of the white Daytona?A few weeks before Christmas I was putting a payment down on a GMT IIc at my AD and when I left I passed one of the showcase windows outside and saw a white and black faced Daytona. The price tag on the white was visible and said $11300. Is that right?I thought these models were tough to obtain and to have both on display??Can an AD ask above MSRP for these watches and if they do is that legal or does it make them look like a hero when they give a discount on an over inflated MSRP?

SMP America's Cup?
I visited a watch dealer today and found one of these on display. It wasn't in the best condition, but not bad at all. The bezel had a few scratches as does the bracelet (which can easily be polished out). All the papers/box are included. The guy was willing to trade me with my newly aquired 2254.50 plus 500$. I love the chrono and I like this even more because it's the America's Cup Edition. The dial looks better with it. om135.jpgShould I go for it?
