- Great looking automatic; would prefer a metal clasp wristband instead of black plastic.

- As a graduation present, my grandparents wanted to buy me a nice watch because I have an interest in them. This watch fits so well with my wrist and I couldn't have asked for a better watch. I look at watches that my friends have and watches at other stores when I go out, and to be completely honest, I feel that this watch looks better than any other watch that I've seen (I'm not just saying that because my grandparents got this watch for me, I mise!) for a couple of reasons: One, this watch is very elegant. Two, it's not too and bulky. I really couldn't have asked for a better gift.

Omega Omega 48158 wrist watches news:
Here's a variation of something we've done before. We've had the vintage vs modern debate but let's add a twist: by series, which is more desirable? It's obvious that the Seamaster series will be voted "modern" by an overwhelming margin since members with the 2254 and Bonds seriously outnumber the handful of us with vintage Seamasters. But what about Speedies? Would you rather have a vintage one knowing the history behind them, or a modern version? You can comment on whichever line-up you wish - Speedmaster, Seamaster, Constellation, De Ville or Geneve. And of course, pictures always help! After all, what's a good article without some illustrations? For me, it's vintage (like you couldn't guess) BUT I'm enjoying the hunt for a post-2000 black-dialed SMP of some type. My Aqua Terra is a regular in the rotation, and it's a descendant of the Seamaster De Ville series. Some of the new De Villes and Constellations are pretty nice though!
I don't know whether to be appalled, or lost in admiration at the sheer audacity:Naked HAMILTON Ladies Watch Vintage 1950 Golden Face (take a look at the seller's other wristwatch offerings for more of the same)
Hi everyone need some advice. Got myself my first 42mm ROO (Volcano) and wondering if its normal for the second hands 12 to be a little bit jumpy / jerky? Absolutely no problem with my power reserve and the watch keeps accurate time even after 3 days of not winding it. However, was staring at my watch today and notice the second hand is a little bit jerky. Like there are tiny gaps between the sweep. When i start my Chrono, it moves in the same momentom as the second hand, where the sec hands jerk, the chrono does the same. I was wonder if its absolutely normal or if there is something sinister happening to my movement. Secondly, on my wrist i can hear my rotor sound. Is that normal too? Thanks for the kind advice.
Over the last few months I've been doing a slight adjustment to my collection with the idea of looking for a few pieces with historical significance. While I've had a few Speedmasters in the past, for one reason or another they've moved on to new homes. As I re-thought my collection I realized any collection of watches with significant impact in the sports/professional community should include such an iconic piece.I went for the standard hesalite moon watch to represent the Speedmaster professional side of the house as, for me, this is the reference that represents all that is legendary about Omega's Speedmaster series. It sure helped that my AD was so accomodating.Sooo,....a few quick shots of the newest member of my little group.
Hi Guys,I'm fairly new to the forum and am really glad to be a part of it!Anyways, I was pretty sure that I would get my watch from an AD because at that time I didn't know any other options. Then I found TRF, which opened my eyes to a whole new world. I saw many great deals from our sellers in the forum and became more inclined to buy from them. As appealing as the deals may seem, I still have this strange feelings about owning a pre-owned watch even though they look perfectly like new. But again, why pay more money at ADs (including sales tax) if the watches are essentially the same. I feel like I'm overthinking about this whole thing, but just couldn't make up my mind. Has anyone encountered this dilemma before? Would you prefer to buy from ADs or trusted sellers for your VERY FIRST Rolex? Thanks!
