If you close your eyes, which watches do you see? I don¡¯t necessarily mean your grail watches because to me a grail watch has a degree of attainability attached tom it. The watches I see are ones that I have no realistic hope of getting in my lifetime but would love to have fall into my lap by shear good fortune. For example:A 14K solid gold, engraved Hamilton Oval. Perfect dial. No wear.A Benrus Sky Chief with a pristeen brown dial the flawless crystal and a Valjoux 72 inside the case.An 18K solid gold, black dial, trench watch. Preferably a 17j Elgin 0s with shrapnel grill. With a sticker on the back that says ¡°Enjoy your new purchase, Stan¡±.What¡¯s your dream trio?Joel

Industry News: Rolex and Sellita
this could be just a rumor.i heard that Sellita SA maker of the SW200 [used by a lot of watchmakers like Oris, Breitling, Invicta and others] watch movement was backed up through 2009 and unable to meet orders due to a shortage of parts.while surfing the net i found that Sellita has been absorbed by Rolex, who bought up the company to be used exclusively in their Tudor line of watches. appears like Rolex wants to extend the Tudor market and make Tudor the direct competitor for Omega, Sellita is still in business but their movements will no longer be available to the masses, just like ETA.if this is true, what do you think will happen now, who will sell ebauches of movts to the watchmakers?

DILEMMAS! ROO SS Panda vs Rolex Yachtmaster ll
Hi everyone, I have a few questions for you AP folks. I have been recently pursuing my first AP and am a little confused. I love the look of the ROO panda mainly for the white face. I would like the 44mm version but not sure about the reference number. What is the Novelty model? Is it a new variation of the 44mm? Secondly, I have been in hot pursuit of the YMll for some time, again because I would like to add something different with a white face and the AP just became another option. I love both but am stumped, I know the ROO panda 44 come with a rubber strap, can I get a SS bracelet, or can I order a leather strap? Should I just stick with another Rolex? If I can get some clarification of the ROO that I like, model etc so I can focus on it? Can I buy straps for it? Thanks everyone

Greetings TRF,I really took a lot of pictures yesterday and had to delete quite a few as they didn't come out nicely.
