Patek Philippe, the most prestigious firm in the watch world, has thrown down a gauntlet to the Swiss watch industry. After 123 years, the Swiss brand replaced the Geneva Seal with a higher-standard seal of its own. Archimede is a sister brand of Limes and features the same great in house Icler cases.Anyone I know that has one raves about the finish, the accuracy, and the clasic Flieger good looks.(below is some brief info from the company and a pic of the Pilot)ARCHIMEDE P i l o t The function of these pilot's watches determine the classic, timeless design. The large, clear dials with luminous numerals and hands allow an excellent readability of time. The fine satin stainless steel cases have sapphire crystals on top. The Eta 2824-2 is visible through the display back. The classic Archimede Pilot with black dial is available in two diameters: The Pilot with 42mm and the Pilot M with 39mm. Hi, I think I've managed to over-wind my Calatrava 5196G as, when winding, it is now making a grinding sound.Has anybody experienced similar, is it serious (I've allowed it to run down just in case) and is a PP service the best remedy?Many thanks.1PFC
