Omega 2210.51.00 wrist watches news:
its funny, jut 8 days ago i discovered a little hair hanging in the minute hand on my Seamaster 2254, is almost invisible to the naked eye but you can actually see it.i was thinking of returning the watch but its hard for me cuz i don't live in usa, so i tried to live with it since my Ω is running 1.2 secs/dayand today i just realized that Henn's brand new Ω 2254 also have a hair inside two! now i feel better...but finally, is this horrible flaw acceptable on a brand with the prestige and reputation of Ω?i really don't care cuz is almost invisible, but its there, i can live with that and still love my seamaster but i personally think Ω should improve a bit their QC. [based on my own experience]i dont have any intention to bash Ω, cuz lately i have receiving attacks, so this is a friendly post...
So, of course, just as I'm deciding to sell or trade my modern Ventura, I notice that it somehow got a time scratch on the crystal. And, while it doesn't look that deep, I can feel it with my fingernail. Can this be polished out or filled? I would really prefer to not invest in a new crystal OR take a huge hit on the sale price, because of a little mark. Is there a cheap but effective fix? Thanks!
I recently sold my AP15400 because it was just too big, so I sold it and my Bark DD as I got a great deal on Platinum Day Date which I love, effectively a flat swap out.I knew one day I would come back to an AP RO, but unlike the trend I want to go back to the origins of RO i.e. 36mm with its thin movement, which I think looks great as a dressy sports watch just as my DD is.I just so happen to be sitting in a hotel room in Boston and made the mistake of looking at the site where I have bought a watch in the past here in Boston (yes I live in Sydney). Just figured since I was in town...........I think this watch looks amazing, obviously very rare, so very hard to genuinely price, it looks like it has never been worn the case is immaculate, I think this would have been an original leather band model not sure if this is the original band, may go and look tomorrow (TRYING VERY HARD TO RESIST, WIFE ENABLING ME FROM SYDNEY). Help me TRF........ I am nowhere near the expert on AP that many of
I am curious about the attitudes towards Rolex two tone watches. Seems like most shy away from them in favor of Stainless. I have one, an older 16013 which I like a lot. This year I'll be picking up a second in the form of a CHNR. Some times I see Rolex TT models selling at ADs for less than their stainless counter parts on the secondary market. I know I could have purchase a TT Daytona for less than my stainless 116500. Baffling to me.
Do Rolex boxes differ hugely?Model, age etc. Do the more expensive watches come in a fancier 'casket'?It would be nice to see the variationsTucking her up for the night.
