Omega Omega 25161 wrist watches news:
As promised from a previous post. My apologies for the harsh lighting. The dial on the wgf/enamel is not correct according to the drawing.
Weeks ago I saw a collector who had a 5070P. I asked if I could take some pics from that watch. For me this watch is indisputable the top. I'm not intrested in super complications like tourbillons and repeaters. Chronographs are imo the most beautifull and interesting wathces no matter which brand. Since I always loved each 5070 from patek, this rare platinum piece is imo the best the watch market offers. It's case, thickness, size, color all together it's PERFECT Anyway, this afternoon I had an appointment with this person and he brought the one thing I asked for .his Platinum 5070
A couple of weeks ago, the Russian president Dmitry Medvedev paid a visit to Switzerland in honour of his great fellow countryman General Alexander Suvorov. The Russian president was presented a dagger that had belonged to the Russian general when he crossed the Alps by the Swiss president. The two president had visited the world-famous Suvorov Monument in the Sch?llenen Gorge together. This monument commemorates the crossing of the Alps by the Russian generalissimo with his troops in September 1799. Indeed no mean feat back then. What struck me as odd was that the Russian president handed over a small coin to the Swiss president just prior to accepting the dagger.A few days ago I spoke to my good old friend Wendelin Niederberger. Wendelin is one of Europe's foremost experts on and teachers of Taoism. We were talking about the upcoming Christmas and about exchanging gifts. During our conversation, I also mentioned the handing over of the coin by the Russian president. And suddenly Wendel

Hi everyone, I just had a question about the whole series thing. I know that the letters indicate what year the watch was produced in, and I also know that up to a certain letter the 111 were sausage dials and then switched to sandwich dials. I know that CG used to be polished now brushed, and I know that the movement had panerai stamped all over it and now it doesn't.However, I have had trouble finding out what the differences between let's say a 111 J series and a more recent N series apart from the year it was produced. Can anyone shed some light on differences from J series 111 and onward? Thanks.
