Omega Omega 15512 wrist watches news:
While it has nothing to do with the actual theme of the watch, when I first laid eyes on this new limited edition Porsche Design P'6612 Dashboard Le Mans 1970 timepiece, I thought of something a bit kinky. You know, those lace-up on the sides leather pants, corsets, and other lingerie/bondage outfits? You know, because of that cross-stitching in red thread on the black leather strap. Then I toned it back a bit, and thought to myself "this isn't a watch that people are going to wear with those types of outfits. The watch also reminds me of hip shoes - which are something that someone might easily choose to wear the watch with. So below, you'll find a few Nike's with matching color schemes and red laces. In 1970, the Porsche 917 (pictured above) was the first Porsche to ever win at the Le Mans race. Funny how modern the car still looks. 40 years later, Porsche Design is celebrating the historic victory with this limited edition watch of917 pieces (why not 1,970 pieces Porsche Design?!). T
English watches are becoming very vogue right now. For a while (though it was a long time ago), England was the place to be a watch maker. Even Rolex has British roots. You can see Pre-owned Rolex watches here. Then for a long time the English were OK with just buying watches, and not making them as much. With today's resurgent popularity of the mechanical watch and the impressive marketing increases in the consumption of luxury watches, things are changing in England with more and more watch makers setting up shop. A good deal of them are older watch companies making a "comeback."Dent is one of those historical English watch and clock makers that has now resurfaced thanks to a couple of enterprising individuals in England. And what a wonderful brand to bring back. Back in the mid 19th century, Dent was awarded the contract to build the clock at the top of the tower at the Palace of Westminster. The clock was later known as Big Ben, and is one of the most recognizable clocks on the pla
HiI have just purchased the above watch and wondered if someone could give me advice on where I can purchase the batteries from in the United Kingdom and if possible extra links, the bracelet has the stainless steel and solid gold links I probably need a couple.RegardsMartin
Hey guys!Today is a pretty special day! This just might be the very first time that all of the Admirals and Generals from the Illinois Watch Case Company have been pictured together ! ! !On September 5, 1917 the Illinois Watch Case Company gave proper names to four of their trench watch cases. These proper names were: Admiral Evans, General Joffre, General Funston and Admiral Benson. All four of these men had very distinguished military careers so it makes complete sense that the IWCCo would name their top of the line cases after them. The General Joffre and the Admiral Evans are probably the hardest to obtain out of this group (especially a gold filled Admiral Evans with an offset crown). The Admiral Evans is a size 0s, the General Joffre is a GIANT size 6s, the General Funston is a size 0s and the Admiral Benson is a size 3/0s.This picture is pretty EPIC!To have all four of these watches in the same room is nearly impossible...............that is until today!ENJOY ! ! !And here is the Sep
Hi everyone, I have wanted for some time to grab a vintage Omega - and I came across this Cosmic that was recently serviced. It doesn't strike me as having seen a lot of polish time and the parts look original. Just wanted to get some thoughts on whether this is a good buy. The dial has marks in a few different areas, not sure how this will age, so quite hesitant.
