Baume & Mercier 8344 wrist watches news:
Looking at getting my first Rolex. This is what I am thinking...Love the DeepSea but not sure on the cost vs upgrades. Over all love it the most. All the upgrades are making me jump on getting the Rolex now.Love the look and upgrades on the new GMT IIC but don't like the polished center links. Is there a new SS Sub with the ratchet expansion on the clasp like the DS? Ceramic bezel, AR coating, new movement? Seems if there is a new SS Sub out then that will be all the things I want. Well except the larger size I like. Right now a Breitling SuperOcean SteelFish is my daily watch.Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance,Tommy
Let's see em guys!
i got to thinking about this as i was browsing the monday check in. i left the house kind of rushed this morning. it's cold out (and inside my house due to a broken thermostat, lol) and i knew i was going to be hitting the gym after work today. so i threw on a hoodie and left more so in comfort than anything else. this means my wrist is naked this afternoon. do you guys ever go about your day without a watch? maybe you just don't feel like wearing one sometimes or you forget it. whatever the reason may be.
For people like us, (prepared to split a hair 50 ways before breakfast) I have always been slightly surprised at the reluctance to stick to the official designation of a divers watch. So, for a start, to be classified as a diver's watch according to ISO 6425, you need to have the watch marked with the words: "DIVER’S WATCH XXX M" where xxx indicates the allowed depth in meters. There is of course more tests, pressure and temperature, but I guess it is easy to just say, it's got a rotating bezel, it must be a divers watch
Just curious if anyone has had experience with RSC in Toronto, and how long it typically takes to receive a watch back from full serviceThanks dudes
