- I purchased this watch in black for my 11 yr old son as a gift for his excellent grades. He loves it and so do I. The quality and durability for the price can't be beat. I would recommend this watch for boys aged 8-13.

A. Lange & Sohne 140.029 wrist watches news:
Back at SIHH 2012, Audemars Piguet released the Royal Oak Tourbillon Extra-Thin Openworked in platinum. This watch was an instant high-end hit and people (especially people here at HODINKEE) loved it. So you can imagine our excitement to see that AP has re-released the Royal Oak Tourbillon Extra-Thin, now in yellow gold. 1 OF 2 As you may know, Audemars Piguet is known for their openworked watches and the great amount of craftsmanship that goes into each piece is incredible. The first skeletonized AP was created around 1921 (a pocket watch with skeletonized dial) and the first skeletonized Royal Oak was made in 1986 (1993 for the first skeletonized women’s Royal Oak), so they have had plenty of time to perfect the technique. ADVERTISEMENT Just like the original Extra-Thin Tourbillon Openworked, the caliber 2924 movement (which was brand new back in 2012, celebrating 40 years of Royal Oak) is used in the new yellow-gold piece. I have been away for a while and thought i should jump on the Hamilton forum and post my first thread here I Know its not a watch, but a pocket watch though i do have a few old wrist Hammies in the safe First shot with its ORIS friend (and yes, you guys can all come post over at the ORIS forum too )Elgins on the top, Hamiltons on the bottom .......Some nice details ........Just love the red It takes guts And no, i dont know much about it at all ......but it is beautiful and needs a good cleaning.
Just in a Hamilton 1941 "Endicott". They made this model for years the 1941 was the last model of this type they made. After 1941 Hamilton did not put out a catalog till 1947. During that time they were focused on the war effort making watches and clocks for the military. The watch was in good condition just need some clean-up on the case and dial. The movement I did not touch and it running for over 24 hours seems to keep perfect time. Not bad for a watch over 74 years old. The band and the buckle were original, however the band was stiff and dry rotted. The band I have on there right now is temporary and I have on order one that closely matches the original. Would have posted this on the Hamilton Forum area, but oh yeah we don¡¯t have the anymore. Hint! Hint!
Nickel is considered a "dangerous" substance in Britain - and the metal's content in wrist watch cases is regulated under a 2005 law.Nickel causes skin rash in some people.
Tried this on at the local boutique recently. Wasn't aware that they only made 300 of these. Thoughts?👍
